Developers didn't
have a room

Realtors have rooms. Builders have rooms. Investors have rooms.

Developers do not. The development community in the Hill Country had no dedicated space to convene, share knowledge, or simply be in the same room. We built the Hill Country Developers Forum to fix that.

The first event was thirty-five people in a small room, and almost every conversation included some version of "we needed this." We will run it again.

"I'd rather be here, working on what matters, than attending a conference across the state full of irrelevant information for a high ticket price. We all need to be here and we all need to be here often."

Committed to the
excellence of development

The Hill Country Developers Forum is a community of professionals committed to the excellence of development of the Texas Hill Country.

Our quarterly meetings offer a deeper dive into city and county standards — the ordinances, codes, and policy shifts that shape how this region is built — alongside continuing education delivered by local professionals who know this land firsthand.

More than a meetup, this is a place to network with likeminded individuals who share a commitment to doing this work well. Hosted by Waymaker Land Advisors & Surveyors.

"Just wanted to say thank you again for inviting us to attend yesterday. It was a great event and definitely needed as we look toward shaping the future of development in the Hill Country."
Casey Zins, P.E.  |  Project Manager, Civil & Land Development  |  Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc.
"Thank you and your team for putting on the Developers Forum yesterday. I think it was very successful."
